Capturing Life’s
First Moments

The few weeks following a baby’s birth are so incredibly special – capturing your newborn in a beautiful photo is something you’ll love forever, especially when your baby changes so much from one day to the next at this stage. My newborn sessions are super relaxed, as are the photos. I don’t do studio posed baby pictures, instead work with natural daylight in your own home, led by your baby, who can be asleep or awake - we go with the flow. My style is fluid and natural, focusing on those distinctive newborn moments.

We had maternity and newborn photos taken and absolutely love all our photos to capture such a special time. The sessions were super relaxed and comfortable, it just felt like a close friend taking our photos - nothing too staged or posed.

Booking Process

WHEN TO BOOK
My sessions are very relaxed, and I don’t require your baby to be under two weeks old. You can choose a time that feels right for you and when you’re feeling ready. Usually, the “fourth trimester” (within the first three months) works beautifully, but there’s no strict timeframe.

BOOKING
We’ll first lock in a date and time for your session. Once that’s confirmed, I’ll email you a booking request. A $250 deposit secures your date.

BEFORE THE SHOOT
Once you’re fully booked, you’ll get access to my online welcome page with styling tips (yes, what to wear), prep advice, a questionnaire, and a model release.
I’ll also be in touch to chat through ideas, locations, and what you want from your photos.

EDITING & RETOUCHING
Every selected image is carefully edited and delivered in both colour and black & white. I focus on natural tones and a cohesive look.
Extra retouching (small fixes, object removal, skin tweaks) can be added if you want, just ask for a quote.

GALLERY DELIVERY
Within 3–4 weeks, you’ll get a private online gallery to view, and select your images. You’ll receive high-res files for printing and low-res for sharing- because your photos deserve more than living forever in your camera roll.

PRINTS
You can order prints, albums and other products straight from your gallery. I’ve tested many printers and only work with the best labs, so you’re getting beautiful, true-to-colour prints that are made to last. No pressure, no hard sell, just options if you want them.
