What if one of us is unwell?
I am always happy to reschedule if the germs doing the rounds have taken hold just get in touch and we will work something out.
What do I do if my kids aren’t behaving?
I have been there! So, no problem or judging there. Kids are kids and arguing, meltdowns and tantrums are part of being a little child with big feelings. We know when to take a break, and when to talk them round.
Do you shoot outdoors in the winter?
Yes! Winter light is gorgeous, and sunsets are much earlier, perfect timing for young families. You still get that beautiful sunset glow without waiting until 8pm like in summer. Plus, beaches are quieter and usually less windy. Win-win.
The weather is bad, what happens now?
Wind and clouds can look beautiful and dramatic, and overcast skies can work too, but if it’s raining, we’ll reschedule.
Where’s the best location to shoot?
Sessions can be at home, in your backyard, or outdoors- beaches, bush reserves, rocky spots, a quiet lane, or even your local street with a coffee shop. I’m always happy to suggest locations and help you choose what feels most you as a family.
I need to reschedule, will I lose my deposit?
I totally get that life happens, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate changes. Please be respectful of my business and give as much notice as possible. Weekends book out months in advance, so rescheduling is much easier on weekdays, where I have more flexibility.
I don’t want my photos published online- is that okay?
Absolutely! I completely respect your privacy and always ask for permission before using any photos, especially of children.
Can other family members join in?
Yes, I can accommodate up to six adults (say two sets of grandparents) for some special family group shots.
What style of photography?
My style is lifestyle, meaning I’ll give you plenty of guidance, but also space for natural moments to unfold.
Do you provide Albums & Prints?
Absolutely. I offer custom-designed albums, keepsakes, and professional prints that you can order directly from your gallery after the session.
How long is my deposit valid?
Your deposit is valid for one year from your original booking date.
Do you travel?
Yes! Travel within 20km of 2095 is included. Beyond that, a travel fee will apply. I’m also available for both domestic and international shoots.
Do you photograph weddings and events?
Yes! I love storytelling through photography and would be excited to hear your ideas.
