Effortless, a little undone, a bit editorial. I shoot the in-between - nothing too posed, nothing forced. Just you, your people, your brand… but elevated.

We’ll pick a space that feels like you - home, beach, somewhere with a bit of mood - and let it unfold naturally. It’s collaborative, intuitive, slightly undone… in the best way.

“Elena’s style is so consistent with who she is – so natural, relaxed, playful and fun, which comes through in the way she approaches her photography. Not over the top, nothing false.”

- Elisha, Sydney

Who you’ll be working with - about me…

Hi! I’m Elena, your photographer. I’m here to capture you at all those special, precious moments in your life. Pregnant, becoming a mum, being a mum – recording the energy of you feeling empowered, in a relaxed, fun, effortless, and spontaneous way. Showcasing your brand in a human, creative, and fresh way. For me, the whole experience of being photographed is about you feeling something, not just how it looks at the end. For you to feel a little bolder, and live a bit louder.

I love those undone, effortless, not overly polished moments. Real moments that show the connection to your baby on the way, your body in pregnancy, or your brand. My style is easy-going, not too try-hard or glossy. To make you feel comfortable, I’m all for natural movement over stiff posing, but I’ll give some direction so you feel like you. Some shots might be a little grainy or raw but always with a filmic quality and tasteful style.

I’ve been shooting for 15+ years - in London, Lithuania, and now in Sydney, NSW for the past seven. Before this I worked as a photographer and digital artist on some high profile productions (Top Gear, Dr Who, Sherlock, Serengeti) which gave me a creative eye for light, composition and storytelling. I bring all of that into family, maternity and branding work — with a relaxed but slightly rebellious aesthetic, and a genuine understanding of family life because I’m living it too, with two primary school-aged kids of my own.

Me, personally

Like my photography style, I’m very yin and yang myself – I coexist between finding quiet moments in yoga training, juggling working and mum-ing, and being the last one on the dancefloor on night out. I love meeting new people, and seeing clients returning in the next chapter of their lives.
